BREAKING: Texas Gov. backtracks on bars, restaurants after Breitbart forum shows no one wearing masks

Video and photos of a Tea Party-sponsored forum showing virtually none of the attendees & speakers wearing masks has prompted Texas Governor Greg Abbott to order the closure of bars and backtrack to 50% capacity on dine-in restaurants.

Texas State Senator Brandon Creighton posted these photos of a panel discussion featuring Congressman Dan Crenshaw, Congressman Kevin Brady and Lt. Governor Dan Patrick.

The elected officials are not and the politically well-connected attendees shown in the photos do not appear to be wearing masks.

Six days later on June 26th, Texas Governor Abbott took action to curb the spread of COVID-19 by issuing the executive order HERE.

However it wasn't until THIS video was posted on July 27 did the broader public learn the forum sponsored by the Kingwood Tea Party was in actuality a Breitbart townhall moderated by Alex Marlow.

By now you must be asking the question: are the mask-wearing edicts only for the little guy and not the politically well-connected ? If it weren't for double standards, there'd be no standards at all.

Or so the saying goes.

Revealed: Group behind Lindsay Graham ad swooning over Joe Biden includes Never Trumper Bill Kristol

A new ad featuring South Carolina Senator Lindsay Graham swooning over Joe Biden is the product of a team headed by Never Trumper Bill Kristol.

The ad titled " Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) Loves Joe Biden" includes this priceless gem:

" You know how you Make American Great Again? Tell Donald Trump to go to hell".

Public records on the Federal Elections Commission website reveal the ad was paid for by "Defending Democracy Together" and lists William (Bill) Kristol as President / Executive Director.

Kristol gained notoriety as an America Last supporter when he was featured in a Daily Caller article saying America's "Lazy White Working Class Should Be Replaced by New Americans".

And is among a group of Senators who support an influx of more cheap foreign labor which sends Americans to the unemployment line.

Breaking: was there foreign meddling in Texas CD-7 Congressional primary race?

Photos of Harris County GOP precinct chairs taken with a foreign national tied to endorsements of candidates for political office have emerged and questions are being asked about foreign meddling in the March 2020 Texas CD-7 Congressional Republican primary race.

The photo below was posted by Harris County CD-7 GOP precinct 509 chair Gail Stolzenburg. Mr. Stolzenburg identified Jeb Strickland, Precinct 625 chair and Jon Speiers, Precinct 87 chair.

Mr. Stolzenburg's post also named Shandon Phan, former candidate in the Texas CD-22 GOP primary and Hilario Yanez, National Press Secretary for the Republican National Hispanic Assembly.

Yanez is a DACA recipient  (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) --a foreign national, unlawfully present in the United States but allowed to work and obtain a drivers license and protected from deportation under an Obama executive order.

Foreign national Yanez is also tied to a Republican advisory board that issued THIS LIST of endorsements in Congressional and Judicial candidates prior to the March 2020 Super Tuesday GOP primary.

The Harris County GOP CD-7 precinct leaders could jeopardize Republican wins across Texas if evidence of foreign meddling in U.S. elections continue to surface.

Did Yanez' presence on the advisory board  influence the selection process any endorsement decision on the issue of support for a DACA amnesty?

Should foreign nationals engaged in lobbying elected officials disclose their relationships and sources of income?

If Americans engaged in lobbying on behalf of a foreign country must register and disclose their relationships with the foreign principal, shouldn't that same standard apply to the DACA recipients lobbying as well?

That is the question I asked myself as I watched this Fox and Friends segment featuring Hilario Yanez.

Yanez, of Houston, Texas, billed as a DACA (Deferred Action For Childhood Arrivals) recipient, engaged in a public policy discussion with the show hosts and was asked his political opinion on the recent Supreme Court decision on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program and what it means to Yanez.

"It doesn't get us a step closer to a permanent solution... Trump's intention was to get rid of DACA so we could find a permanent solution and to force Congress to do their job ..I still don't know what my future looks like."

While its appreciated that Fox and Friends revealed Yanez' status (and he doesn't keep it a secret, either) as a foreign national with unlawful presence (allowed to work and obtain a driver license) in the United States lets consider the key question of foreign nationals lobbying elected U.S. officials without disclosure of their relationships and compensation.

Yanez was invited to and gave testimony in front of a March 6, 2019 United States Congressional committee. At the 2:20:00 minute mark he answers Rep. Debbie Lesko question " What do you think the Trump administration is doing well to help the immigration system ?'

Isn't the broader question "Who invited a foreign national to engage in the political activity of lobbying members of the United States Congress

Who paid his travel expenses from Houston, Texas to Washington, DC?

Who is this foreign national lobbying on behalf of? American citizens? Residents of a foreign country?

Don't U.S. citizens have a right to know?

Listen to his response (start at 2:20:00) that Angel Families should be part of the discussion. Hear him say Trump is supporting pathway to citizenship for DACA recipients.

Has Yanez been to the White House as part of a discussion? He seems so certain of a  Presidential public policy position of supporting a pathway to citizenship.

We do know the U.S. Chamber of Commerce invited him to speak at their forum titled The Immigration Landscape:

And is billed as the National Press Secretary for the Republican National Hispanic Assembly.

Yes, THAT Republican National Hispanic Assembly.

If Americans engaged in lobbying on behalf of a foreign country must register and disclose their relationships with the foreign principal, shouldn't that same standard apply to the DACA recipients lobbying as well?

Cheap Labor Lobby wants taxpayers to foot the bill for "return to work" bonuses

Not only should the businesses use their own money to pay the "return to work" bonus but fomenting division in the workplace between employees already at work and those returning is horrible public policy.

Texas Republican Kevin Brady introduced a bill in Congress that if passed and signed into law would use taxpayer money to pay a "back to work" bonus instead of the business using their own money to finance the payment.

From Congressman Brady's press release:

Washington, D.C. – Today, the top Republican on the House Ways and Means Committee Kevin Brady (R-TX) introduced the Reopening America by Supporting Workers and Businesses Act of 2020. This bill will help local businesses rebuild their workforce quickly by turning these unemployment benefits into a back-to-work bonus that will provide a bump to workers and help accelerate our economic recovery.

This bill will help local businesses rebuild their workforce quickly by turning these unemployment benefits into a back-to-work bonus that will provide a bump to workers and help accelerate our economic recovery. The bill includes:

  • Time limited back-to-work bonuses: Make work pay by allowing workers to keep up to two weeks of the supplemental federal unemployment benefits after accepting a job, comparable to a $1,200 hiring bonus. The bonus would be available to claimants beginning a week after the date of enactment and end July 31, 2020.
  • Return to work reporting: Strengthen program integrity by ensuring employers can report job refusals and that states provide clear notice to unemployment claimants about return to work obligations and good cause exceptions.
  •  Relief for non-profits: CARES Act provided additional relief for reimbursable employers, such as non-profits, to help offset the costs of unemployment benefits by 50%. Non- profits provide critical supports to low-income families and many are facing challenges reopening. This clarifies that non-profits do not have to pay the full amount and wait for reimbursement. Instead, states can reduce the amount owed up-front.
Not a week goes by without County Examiner asking questions of small business owners. Some have expressed that several employees have returned to work. It's not hard to imagine the level of divisiveness in the workplace that could be caused if one group of employees received the back to work bonus and another group did not.

Then there is the constant drumbeat from media frightening Americans that a second wave of lockdowns from COVID-19 are pending.

Businesses don't need Congressional legislative action to pay a return-to-work bonus either. They can and should use their own money to pay the bonus. Non-profits should not receive additional special treatment through indirect subsidies either; if they are cash strapped they can fundraise.

Congressman Brady should know this. His Wikipedia biography shows he worked his way through college in the 1970's holding a variety of jobs such as construction worker, meat packer, manufacturing worker, waiter, and bartender.

American adults and teenagers who've not returned to work are not lazy bums as his House colleague Dan Crenshaw would have you believe.

Unfortunately Congressman Brady has not considered that PAY, legal status to work in the United States and the constant droning of politicians and media scaring Americans into believing another round of COVID-19 induced lockdowns is on its way are other factors to be examined.

Not all military veterans are America First, Texas Dem says "if people loot, let it burn to the ground"

If Air Force Col. Kim Olson commanded a military base would she allow rioters, looters to enter and "let it burn to the ground"?

In a video conference clip obtained by the Washington Examiner, retired Air Force Col Kim Olson, Democrat candidate to represent the 24th Congressional District of Texas made the following comment during a question and answer session on defunding the police

The Washington Examiner reports (emphasis mine):
"A leading Democratic candidate in a closely watched House race brushed off looting and arson that occurred during nationwide unrest during protests about racism and police brutality sparked by the death of George Floyd.
“What the hell you got snipers on the roof for in a peaceful march? Even if people loot, so what? Burn it to the ground, you know, if that’s what it’s going to take to fix our nation, retired Air Force Col. Kim Olson said during a live digital event on Tuesday, shown in a clip obtained by the Washington Examiner.
Beth Van Duyne, Republican candidate for the 24th Congressional District of Texas tweeted:

Retired Air Force Col Kim Olson, Democrat candidate to represent the 24th Congressional District of Texas is in a heated primary with Candace Valenzuela for the party nomination.

But with the news that Olson, in her own words, supports burning America to the ground is just a bridge too far, making it clear that just because a candidate served in the United States military doesn't mean they support America first and foremost.

If retired Air Force Col. Kim Olson had commanded a military base would she allow rioters, looters to enter and "let it burn to the ground"?

"Peaceful" Jacksonville protester & convicted felon caught with Molotov cocktail

A 27-year old "peaceful" protester from Jacksonville, Florida was caught in possession of a Molotov cocktail and charged in federal court this past week, says the press release from the United States Attorney's Office.

Please keep in mind a criminal complaint is merely a formal charge that a defendant has committed one or more violations of federal criminal law, and every defendant is presumed innocent unless, and until, proven guilty.

Jacksonville, Florida– United States Attorney Maria Chapa Lopez announces the filing of a criminal complaint charging Ivan Jacob Zecher (27, Jacksonville) with possessing a firearm as a convicted felon and unlawful possession of an unregistered firearm. If convicted, Zecher faces up to 10 years in federal prison on each count.
“The cooperation and expertise of our local, state, and federal partners in this case has led to a swift arrest without further incident,” said United States Attorney Maria Chapa Lopez. “We will continue to work with our law enforcement and community partners to ensure that the rights of all individuals are protected during these protests and beyond.”
According to the complaint, on May 31, 2020, during a protest in downtown Jacksonville that was related to the death of George Floyd while in police custody in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Zecher was part of a group of protesters blocking traffic and throwing items such as water bottles and rocks at police officers and cars.
After refusing orders to disperse, Zecher was arrested by officers from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office for unlawful assembly. An officer removed Zecher’s backpack to place him in flexcuffs and noticed a liquid leaking from it. A search of the backpack revealed a liquor bottle that smelled strongly of gasoline, a lighter, and a hatchet.  Zecher admitted that he was holding the bottle in his backpack for an associate, and that he knew the bottle contained gasoline.
Preliminary analysis by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives determined that the bottle – which contained gasoline (a flammable liquid) and polystyrene (a flammable gel), and the cork to which was coated with polystyrene – constituted a “Molotov cocktail,” which is an incendiary bomb and destructive device, and therefore considered a firearm under federal law. As a previously convicted felon, he is prohibited from possessing a firearm.'

SMH: Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz undermines America First agenda; throws support to Tuberville & amnesty

The Alabama Senate race is intensifying as a Florida Congressman announced on Twitter he was throwing his support behind GOP Senate primary candidate Tommy Tuberville over immigration patriot Jeff Sessions

Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz, who gives every indication he is a supporter of America First policies and American citizens has, in reality, given his support to America Last, amnesty for illegal aliens supporter Tommy Tuberville.

A television ad called "Tuberville for Amnesty"  debuted in February 2020.

Jeff Sessions and Tommy Tuberville will face off again in the GOP primary runoff race on July 14, 2020.

The RNHA lists Carmen Crenshaw as the Chairwoman of the organizations Texas State Chapter. She is also the stepmother of Texas Congressman Dan Crenshaw.

County Examiners request for comment from the committee went unanswered.

Meet the 21 House Republicans opposing STEM education, jobs for American students

Is YOUR Congressman among those who wrote Mike Pompeo and Chad Wolf pushing support for rewarding the STEM cheap labor lobby for hiring and training international students instead of American students? If you believe the exceptional & talented American youth of today who wish to pursue STEM jobs should have a crack at those opportunities then read on learn which Congressional Republicans disagree with you.

21 House Republications signed their names to THIS letter addressed to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Acting Department of Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf imploring the preservation of a jobs program that makes it cheaper for a STEM employer to hire an international student and/ or alumni than an American one.

Oh, those aren't quite the words House Republicans used but that's how the program works.

In their May 2020 blog post the Center for Immigration Studies explains the OPT-Optical Practical Training program  and why it should be downsized(emphasis mine):

Now is the perfect time to downsize — sharply — the Optional Practical Training program.
This is the program that rewards employers for hiring foreign college grads with an 8 percent discount, a discount the employer could not get if he hired an American college grad. OPT runs for one year for all foreign grads of all American institutions (of whatever level of merit) and an additional two years for a large portion of the alien alumni who have a degree in the fields of science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM).
See how that works?
The discounts are made available by eliminating the usual payroll taxes, which support America's embattled Social Security, Medicare, and Federal-State Unemployment Insurance trust Funds — so America's aging, disabled, sick, and unemployed are forced to subsidize (usually for-profit) employers who prefer alien workers to American ones. That is a truly bizarre arrangement, but one rarely reported by the media.
The STEM employer does not deduct payroll taxes from the paycheck of the foreign college student/ graduate.

BTW, the program was not the result of enabling legislation passed by Congress and signed into law by a United States President. It was made up by former President George W. Bush, expanded under President Obama and still in existence under the Trump administration.
The upside of this odd program is that Congress never had anything to do with it; it was created out of whole cloth by the Bush administration, expanded by the Obama administration, and protected, so far, by the Trump administration. It can be wiped out, or changed, with a stroke of the pen.

The names of the 21 House Republicans are:

Rep. Steve Stivers (OH-15)

Rep. Bill Flores (TX-17)

Rep. Peter King (NY-2)

Rep. Rodney Davis (IL-13)

Rep. Rob Woodall (GA-7)

Rep. John Katko (NY-24)

Rep. Chuck Fleischmann (TN-3)

Rep. Fred Upton (MI-6)

Rep. Pete Olson (TX-22)

Rep. Ann Wagner (MO-2)

Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-1)

Rep. Joe Wilson (SC-2)

Rep. Clay Higgins (LA-3)

Rep. H. Morgan Griffith (VA-9)

Rep. John Shimkus (IL-15)

Rep. David Schweikert (AZ-6)

Rep. Tom Reed (NY-23)

Rep. Don Bacon (NE-2)

Rep. Dan Newhouse (WA-4)

Rep. Trent Kelly (MS-1)

Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (WA-5)

These are the House Republicans undermining the future of American college students who need to earn a living in order to not only repay their college loans but go on to marry and raise a family. They are angry at you for voting for an America First agenda and are pulling out all the stops to sure your college kids are mired in student debt they can't repay.

Florida Congressmen Neal Dunn, John Rutherford lobby for foreign workers, undermine America First agenda

Two Florida Congressmen are among 47 Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives lobbying the Trump Administration to import more foreign workers while tens of millions of Americans are out of work.

Florida Congressmen Neal Dunn (FL-2) and John Rutherford (FL-4) signed their name to a May 26 letter addressed to President Trump urging the White House to refrain from imposing any further restriction on the H-2B non-immigrant seasonal guest worker program.
Citing a risk of harm to economic recovery efforts, the lawmakers assert that even with tens of millions of Americans out of work the businesses in their Districts are suffering from labor shortages.

"On behalf of the thousands of small and seasonal businesses in our Districts that are struggling in this unprecedented and uncertain economic climate, we respectfully urge you to refrain from imposing any further restriction on the H-2B nonimmigrant seasonal guest worker program as part of any forthcoming executive action relating to immigration and/or economic recovery.
As you can understand, this pandemic has impacted the various economic sectors differently. While many are faced with reduced customers and degraded markets, others are struggling to meet customer demand due to seasonal labor challenges."
The H-2B nonimmigrant program permits employers to temporarily hire non-immigrants to perform non-agricultural labor or services in the United States. The employment must be of a temporary nature for a limited period of time such as a one-time occurrence, seasonal need, peakload need or intermittent need.

Pushing the lazy American narrative undermines President Trumps American First agenda and the financial, quality of life security a part-time, seasonal job can mean to the unemployed and underemployed Americans who voted for President Trump and continue to support him.

County Examiner previously reported remarks made during a Leadership Institute Digital Town Hall by Texas Congressman Dan Crenshaw implying Alabama teens are lazy and a bunch of bums:
The representative claimed that places that had fewer immigrants, citing Alabama, couldn’t find workers to do those jobs. This, Crenshaw asserted, is a problem with the work ethic of Americans, not with business owners who prefer to pay ultra low-wages to foreign nationals.
That’s an American cultural problem that I wish we could fix,” Crenshaw said. “I wish our teenagers would actually go to work. They don’t.” Crenshaw added that he has to be “sympathetic” to “some of these business owners who are creating jobs and creating wealth in America, creating growth, building things — they can’t do it without anybody working there.”
For some reason, people who speak English just won’t go work there,” Crenshaw said.

County Examiner will continue to report on the Texas and Florida members of both chambers in the U.S. Congress who are undermining President Trumps' America First agenda and the future of all Americans by advocating jobs for foreign nationals at the expense of unemployed Americans who they clearly prefer be dependent of government welfare.

Black federal officer's life doesn't matter to Black Lives Matter protestors in Florida

A Southwest Florida television station news report glossed over a "dicey" interaction that occurred during Mondays' march to the Fort Myers Police station in downtown Fort Myers and now we have a pretty good idea why the death of a federal officer was omitted from their coverage.

The death of a federal officer didnt fit the agenda-driven narrative of a peaceful protest.

In their segment titled "Protesters march to Fort Myers police station in downtown Fort Myers" the NBC2.com reporter covering the event described it as "about protesting the death of George Floyd and others who have lost their lives due to police killings".

Start at the one minute mark and watch for about 45 seconds.

NBC-2.com WBBH News for Fort Myers, Cape Coral & Naples, Florida

What sparked that "dicey" scene between the man and some of the other "peaceful" protestors? He was holding a photo of Federal Officer Patrick Underwood with the words "his life mattered".

According to a Breitbart News and ABC7 article black federal officer, Patrick Underwood, was shot and killed in Oakland, California, Friday night as he attempted to keep the peace amid the violent riots sweeping California and the rest of the U.S. in the wake of George Floyd’s death in Minnesota.

County Examiner located the footage of the loud, angry, triggered, screaming women who didn't want anyone to see the poster of Officer Underwood. Scroll to the 6 minute mark for the full "peaceful" effect.

Notice what was glossed over and brushed aside as "dicey" in the NBC2 news coverage?

Apparently a black federal officers life; one lost in the line of duty in the California riots while attempting to KEEP the peace--- doesn't matter when there's a specific narrative and agenda to be pushed.

Texas Senator Ted Cruz gets skewered for his race-baiting "blame whitey" tweet

The junior senator from Texas gets pushback for publishing a race-baiting "Blame Whitey" tweet that is undermining President Trumps' uniting America First agenda.

Browse the Twitter feeds of Hollywood celebrities and you'll find tweets similar to this one from JT supporting a fund to bail thugs responsible for rioting, looting and setting fire to major cities across the country out of jail.

Most disturbing though is the race-baiting, blame whitey response from Texas Senator Ted Cruz that is not only undermining Presidents Trumps' unifying America First agenda but calls into question what is on the minds of James Dickey and the Republican Party of Texas (emphasis mine):

But the most severe lashing of Cruz comes from the University of Tampa College Republicans:

Painting a broad brush of blame for the death of George Floyd on the immutable characteristic of skin color is repugnant.

As an elected official representing the State of Texas in the United States Senate Senator Ted Cruz, IMHO should stop listening to the race hustling, grievance mongers in the Republican Party of Texas who think that tactic is a way to turn out the vote in the upcoming July 14, 2020 primary run-offs.

The country needs law and order restored.
